As your neighbor, Albemarle cares about the community of Pasadena.
We’ve always committed ourselves to being a responsible corporate citizen, and we took our commitment a step further. Every year, member companies of the American Chemistry Council submit Responsible Care® goals. They typically promise to decrease environmental emissions or have a better safety record. Albemarle did submit these types of goals, but we decided it was time to make another type of public commitment to our communities.
We submitted an additional goal to the Chemistry Council of sponsoring at least one educational project in each of our plant communities – a goal that none of the other chemical companies included. We’re pleased to report that our Pasadena employees have exceeded this goal. This year and in years past, our employees have been giving back to the community, and we want to share their efforts with you. We care about Pasadena, and it shows.
